Professionalism
AGAPE is licensed by the State of Georgia as a
Child-Placing Agency. With this license
comes the requirement to comply with the State’s
rules and regulations. AGAPE’s professional
staff is highly qualified by way of experience,
education and professional
licensure.
Several of our key staff members are
in leadership roles in various professional
organizations and involved in major state
initiatives. Our programs are well developed
and emulated by other similar organizations.
Quality
AGAPE maintains a high priority on running
quality programs and it shows. Our standards are
high and excellence is strived for in all we do.
The success we enjoy is a by-product of this
quality.
Accountability
As a not-for-profit organization, AGAPE operates
in the sunlight. We have yearly licensing audits
to review our services. We have yearly financial
audits to review how we handle our finances. The
AGAPE Board of Directors monitors the agency
closely and sets policies to ensure that the
agency properly handles its affairs. AGAPE is
also monitored closely by State reviewers
regarding compliance with our State contract.
Our IRS Form 990 is available for review and
shows we maintain a healthy balance between
spending on programs and administration.
Stewardship
AGAPE strives to keep our donors apprised of how
their support is being used. We publish
quarterly newsletters, an annual report each
year summarizing our services and finances,
maintain an active public speaking schedule,
write many letters and have many meetings with
our donors to keep everyone informed of our
efforts and the status of the agency. We strive
to be good stewards at all times of what is in
entrusted into our care.
